Tuface, Amstel Malta thrill UNIBEN students with campus connect tour

Students of the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, had a feel of what makes Tuface thick as an artiste recently when he staged his Campus Connect concert, in collaboration with Amstel Malta. He is on tour of various higher institutions in company with other artistes that include Dammy Krane, Rocksteady Vector and Sound Sultan. Other acts billed for the tour include Sasha P, Seyi Shey, Timi Dakolo, Phyno, Crystals, Harrisong, Capital F.E.M.I Solid Star and Jus’ Kiddin’s EFA. Giving the rationale behind Amstel Malta’s partnership with Tuface and friends, the Brand Manager, Brand Manager Amstel Malta, Mrs. Adedoyin Owotomo, said, “Our partnership with Tuface is borne out of the desire to encourage our consumers at all levels to be the best in whatever they find themselves doing.” According to a statement from the organisers, after a thrilling performance that kept the students on their toes for hours, an excited Tuface thanked the crowd for coming out to listen to him and his friends and promised to revisit the school again. He said, “I am really excited about this partnership with Amstel Malta and looking forward to more of this. It has been a long time that I interacted with the students; it is going to be an emotional return to these campuses. I have received and still enjoy massive support from these spots. They are my ‘personal’ people.” Some of the students commended Tuface for coming to perform and for “warming” them up as the new semester begins. Harrison Pius, a 200 level student of Political Science, who sang along with Tuface all through his performance, described the show as inspiring and exciting. “This is my first event since I was admitted into this campus and it has been on point. Some people have tried to organise shows on this campus, promising to bring big names but at the end of the day they never showed up. Iyanya Set For Kukere Concert In London And Manchester

Pop star and one time MTN Project Famewinner, Iyanya, will be the headliner at the Kukere Concert taking place in the U.K. this June. The concert, which is named after Iyanya’s chart-topping single, will take place at two venues: the indigO2, London on Sunday, June 9 and the Ritz, Manchester, on June 14. The Kukere Concert will also feature other yet-to-be announced acts. According to its organisers, the concert will be hosted by UK comedian and actor, Edie Kadi, with tickets sold at £25 (N6, 000) for regular and £50(N12, 000) for VIP.

JAMB releases withheld results, begins CBT

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has finally released the results of candidates whose results were initially withheld over non-biometric verification even as 91, 610 candidates will commence the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME. Computer based Test in the 7 various designated centres, CBT from Saturday. Registrar and Chief Executive of JAMB, Professor ‘Dibu Ojerinde, while announcing the release of the results of the paper-pencil test and dual-based test conducted a forthnight ago across the nation and two foreign centres, said the CBT will take place in the country and other countries namely Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom and South Africa. Ojerinde who had said over 80, 419 results of the candidates were withheld for various reasons, noted that out of this figure, results of 68,309 candidates from various centres were undergoing further screening to ascertain their culpability, while results of 12,110 candidates had been withheld for possible disciplinary action A source was reliably informed that the results of candidates withheld over lack of biometric verification have been released. Some of the candidates, who could not be verified as the biometric could not show their finger print on the day of the examination were listed by the invigilators in the affected examination centres and forwarded to JAMB head-office, Abuja, for scrutiny. NE also learnt that some other results of candidates were also withheld for further investigation of their innocence or otherwise over alleged examination malpractices, have been cleared and their results released while some other serious cases are still pending, as the Board said the exercise was a continuous process until final decision was taken on them. He said that the scheduled computer-based test will hold from May 18 till June 1 in over 70 centres. 14Yr Old Killed By Her Boyfriend

 The family of the 14-year-old Brooklyn girl who was allegedly killed by her boyfriend and dumped on a beach blasted him this morning for cowardly slaying her after he thought she was pregnant. Police had arrested Christian Ferdinand, 20, in Maine on Tuesday, where he had fled after he allegedly suffocated Shaniesha Forbes, 14, and burnt her body before dumping the remains at Gerritsen Beach. “On the record, she wasn’t pregnant at all. As a 20-year-old man, that is something you could easily find out,” said her devastated cousin Kerry-Anne Thomas. “You had the courage and the balls to kill her and bring her body, and lay her on the beach. But you couldn’t go to the pharmacy to buy a pregnancy test to find out if it was actually true.” Detectives yesterday drove Ferdinand back to the 63rd Precinct station house in Brooklyn, where he allegedly admitted to killing Forbes in January after coming to believe she was pregnant. He was charged with second-degree murder, and has not been arraigned yet. The victim’s weeping mother Sandra Price thanked the police for catching the killer, as did her grandmother Daisy Smith. “I’m very grateful for the job that the two main detectives have done,” she said. “They did a wonderful job catching the killer and getting him for the street, and hopefully putting him away for life. That’s what I think he deserves.” Smith said the family hadn’t been eating or sleeping since the girl’s death. “I’m so happy they caught this guy who killed my granddaughter,” she said. “There was nothing we could do, only wait…Bring him justice.” Sources said Ferdinand suffocated the aspiring nurse — who was, in fact, not pregnant — in his apartment. He then kept her body in his home for a couple of days, sources said. Finally, he allegedly put the corpse into a suitcase and brought it onto the beach, where he tried to get rid of it by setting it on fire. Cops recovered the suitcase the killer used to transport Forbes’ body from his Maine hideout and also took floorboards from his former Brooklyn apartment, the sources said. Relatives said never met Ferdinand, and was not sure how he met Forbes. Thomas speculated that they may have met through social media. “Honestly there shouldn’t have been a relationship. He was a 20-year-old man and she was a 14-year-old child,” she said. “As an adult, which he is, he should have known it was inappropriate to have any type of a relationship with a 14-year-old.” Forbes was a student at the Academy of Young Writers in East New York

12 Arrested For Trying To Make Porn Movie With A Dog

Eleven women and one foreign man have been arrested after they were caught shooting an adult movie with a dog in Nyali Mombasa. The 12 are said to have been engaging in séx with a dog while the camera was on. According to Mombassa boss, the area has been infested with foreigners who come with different motives. Others are said to have come for tour while others come to engage in prõstitution. The 12 were caught performing one of the most embarrassing séxual crime ever. The man was capturing the Kenyan ladies on tape as they had séx with his Dog, a German Shepard. The police boss noted that many ladies have turned into such acts for money. Uche Jombo is one actress that has suffered a lot from negative stories. At a point, she was scandalized with an alleged abortion story, which shook the industry. She went to the extent of suing the magazine and journalist that published the story to a court of law. Her reported failed relationship with Super Eagles footballer, Kalu Uche went viral in the media. Her eventual marriage to America-based Puerto Rican lover, Kenny Rodriguez was also marred by controversies, when it was secretly held in the USA. Nollywood Actress, Ngozi Nwosu Returns Home

After months of treatment in the UK, Fuji House of Commotion actress, Ngozi Nwosu, has returned back home. Ngozi returned home on Tuesday night 7th of May from the United Kingdom where she underwent surgery for a kidney-related illness. The veteran actress is said to have left the UK hospital after her doctor confirmed her to be fully okay to return home. Family, friends and colleagues, who have been anxious to see her welcomed the actress on her arrival at the airport. According to stats from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, almost 300,000 women had breast augmentations in 2010 alonemeaning there are plenty of silicon-stuffed twins out there just waiting for guys to debate their authenticity. That's where we come in. With the help of Norman Rowe, M.D., a New York City plastic surgeon, we've put together a handy how-to guide that you can use to tell if a woman's breasts are bogus just by looking at them. They're Too Close Together Most women's breasts have 2 to 3 inches of space in between them, but implants shrink that gap significantly. If it looks like her breasts are touching in the middle, they're likely fake. 'When doctors put in implants, most of the time they'll just pop them in and set the breasts very close to each other, near the midline of the chest,' says Rowe. They're Too High Up Another dead giveaway is if her breasts are set too high on her chest. Usually, breasts should sit right around where the armpits are. A botched boob job when implants are placed in from the armpits can make the breasts ride up higher, Rowe says. This is easier to see when women are wearing swimsuits, because padded push-up bras also lift breasts. They Look Like Cantaloupes 'Natural breasts are shaped like pears or teardrops, but if hers look more like big, round melons, that's a telltale sign they're fake,' says Rowe. That's because unlike real breasts, which are naturally fuller on the bottom, implants are evenly distributed with silicon or saline from top to bottom, creating a perfectly round shape. You Can Spot Scars Plastic surgeons generally use four access points on the body to put in implants, all of which leave scars: The belly button (look for a scar about half an inch up from it, toward the abdomen); the inframammary crease between the breasts and chest (leaving two symmetrical scars at the bottom of the breasts); around the nipples (but she'd have to be topless for you to see it); and the armpits, which leave the most noticeable scars. 'If a woman's wearing a tank top and she lifts her arms up, you might notice 2-inch scars under her armpits on either side,' says Rowe. And unlike the belly button, which could be an incision point for other surgeries like appendectomies, not too many other surgeons use the armpit for other procedures, he says. You Can Hear Sloshing You might need bionic ears (or just a quiet room) for this one to work, but here's a sign you can actually hear instead of seeing: Women with saline implantsan alternative to siliconwill sometimes give off a 'sloshing' sound when they move side to side. That's probably the result of the surgeon filling up the implant once it was inside the woman's breast, Rowe says. 'If the implant doesn't fill up all the way with saline, it creates an air pocket, which is audible. It's not something you'd notice on a woman walking down the street, but you can definitely hear it in an intimate setting,' he says

Singer Omawumi's Baby's Dad Finally Revealed??

After Omawumi got pregnant and question on who the father was, it has finally been revealed or rather we have gotten an insight as to whom the dad could be. She traveled abroad, gave birth quietly and came back, still nobody was identified as the baby daddy. A few names have popped up but Finally the identity is out. It is revealed that Omawumi was handsomely settled to keep the name of her baby's father a top secret. May D Set To Release Debut Album, Chapter One Plus Official Track List

This is about to be a very hot summer in Nigeria. May D is set to drop his debut album, less than a year after spliting from P-Square’s Square Records. Surprisingly though, P-Square is featured on the album. The album titled Chapter One should be hitting the market on May 10 2013 and will be hosting an official album launch in Abuja on May 26th, and in Lagos shortly after.
