The ‘Ex’ Thing

There will always be this ‘jealous’ feeling you get when you see someone you have been with,with someone else. It doesn’t matter if it is an ex ,a lover,a date,or a one night stand. Thing is, at one point in our lives,these ‘someones’ made us have a good time,we felt special around them or we made them feel special, and we hold on to the memories created, they are now part of who we are as we grow(mentally)only by experience. You ever wonder why you would be in love with someone and still be feeling ‘somehow’ when that ex walks in with someone other than you,or why you can’t stop looking over at your last week’s date’s table with the new guy she keeps smiling with,no matter how happy you are in your life now?. I believe the ‘No better feeling than seeing your ex with someone ugly’ Saying is a bunch of crap,because as long as they look happy together,or pretend to look happy together,you will always feel that first 5minutes sting of pure jealousy.
Matters of the heart can never be completely understood by philosophical reasoning,logic,or Math. Life would have been so easy if it was just like Math: The present, minus The past = Happy future. The complexity of the human mind has made things difficult for us,but the restless nature of inquisitive mine has brought an unsure me to thinking that: we panic,and get ‘jealous’ or feel uncomfortable because we begin to believe that we are nothing more than a fading memory,as a new one is being created right in front of us,even if they were people we just wanted to fuck in some cases. Those awkward moments thou…hmmm.
